The Narrative 720° Project

The Opportunity

David is forming a small group to work with him and the founder of Acreue on this nine-month project starting August 25th.

David is partnering with Acreue, a developmental technology company to help shape the first coach design partner cohort for an emerging developmental system. The new platform and process transcends the typical 360° process and is built on The Narrative 720° Process that David developed. It centers around developmental agreements, and it is supported through reciprocal feedback and collaborative growth. It brings together human coaching, data-driven infrastructure in support of organizational priorities.

This is a founding cohort. Participants will not simply attend a course. They will help experience, test, and shape the Developmental Agreement process, the approach to working with leaders in new ways, and the early stages of the platform experience. They will qualify for Certification in this ground-breaking new platform and process.

The Vision

  • Acreue is building a human-led, AI-supported platform that helps coaches and leaders make better use of assessment data, narrative input, developmental signals, and small intentional practices to better support the maturation, mastery and mobility of leaders.

  • The system is intended to support coach judgment, not replace it. Coaches remain central to discernment, interpretation, and developmental partnership with their clients and the systems in which they work.

The Qualifications

  • You must have solid experience in coaching leaders and debriefing 360° results. Certification in a known 360° tool is a bonus; it will enrich our sense of what is needed.

  • You should have solid experience in working with teams and groups, both in facilitating their growth, but also in connecting development with business outcomes.

  • Ideally, you have studied Integrative Development and/or Narrative Coaching with David.

  • You are curious and open to think with us about how to bridge to the new approaches that are needed.

The Roles

Participants will:

  • Attend live cohort sessions with David

  • Develop or deepen their knowledge of David’s work

  • Review selected design materials, practices, and processes

  • Beta test components of the coach process

  • Offer structured feedback on the process

  • Shape what coaches will need in order to use the platform

  • Test elements of the process where appropriate.

  • Learn how to integrate developmental agreements

The Benefits

  • Participants will learn how to incorporate the Narrative 720° process in their work with teams, which they can use as a springboard to help us develop new ID-based approaches that include yet transcend coaching.

  • Participants will explore with David how this new role sets them up to help organizations shift to learning and development as an ecosystem.

  • Participants who complete the required sessions, practice work, and feedback cycles will be eligible for certification in the Narrative 720° coach process as part of the founding cohort certification.

  • Participants will also receive early exposure to the Acreue system and may be considered for future facilitator, certification, platform, or organizational design partner opportunities as the work matures.

  • Coaches can bring an organization, OD leader, or HR/sponsor into the design partner process. This will help us test the application of the process, provides a living laboratory to deepen the learning, and will be rewarded.

  • Some coaches will have the opportunity to support the use of the platform in organizations brought into the process by Acreue. Coaches who work with organizations in this project will receive a stipend for doing so from Acreue.

The Investment

  • FEE: $2,997 or four monthly installments of $757.

  • This is a founding design partner rate only for the first cohort. Future certification, platform access, and licensing fees are expected to be priced separately and may be higher.

  • The fee includes access to the Certification process at no additional cost.
